NORTH JUDSON -- Esther L. Davis, 84, formerly of North Judson, died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday in Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac, after an illness. Mrs. Davis was born July 12, 1911, in Plymouth. On Jan. 21, 1929, in Knox, she married Louis M. Davis. He died June 3, 1982. Surviving are a son, Robert L. of Crystal Lake, Ill.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sylvia Hamman of Galesburg, Ill., Maxine King of Garden Grove, Calif., and June Sischo of Michigan City; and two brothers, Charles Hartman of California and William Hartman Jr. of Orlando, Fla. A son, George W., preceded her in death. She was a member of North Judson United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the church. Burial will be in San Pierre Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday in O'Donnell Funeral Home.
