Sina was my great great grandmother. There are stones in this cemetery labeled "Father" and "Mother" that could be marking the graves of Albert and Sina. Thanks to Mark Talbert for providing a record of their burial from the locater book at Indian Mound cemetery.

Albert Louis Powers and Candes A "Sina" Miller Powers were married on June 1, 1873 in Wood County, Ohio. To this union five children were born: Ruth M, Samuel Louis, Minerva, Altany and Mary Amelia. All but Ruth lived to adulthood.

Sina died when her daughter Minerva was around eleven years old. Sina's mother, Manerva J. Biggerstaff Miller and sister Ruth Miller Teachman, took care of the little girls, Minerva, Altany and Mary Amelia. (source: from a typewritten copy of "The William H. Miller Family History, His Descendants and What They Do" compiled by Jessie Day Moser Shook 1974. The Story of Minerva Powers and Paul Curtis Rudiger was written by Evelyn Alpha Rudiger Tomanio.)

Minerva was eleven years old in 1890, which would mean that her mother died about 1890.
