Carol Jean Stephens, 82, of Ashdown, Arkansas died Sunday September 20, 2015 in a local hospital. Mrs. Stephens was born November 19, 1932 in Ashdown to Daniel and Eula Grounds. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ashdown.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jere Stephens, her parents, and one brother.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Pam and Kevin Pearson of Ashdown; one grandson Trevor Pearson of Ashdown; three sisters Ruth Walker of Ashdown, Lois McGraw of Ashdown, and Catherine Black of Fayetteville, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Services will be Monday September 21, 2015 graveside at Ashdown Cemetery with Jim Cross officiating.
