During the war Pearl worked in the floral industry spray painting flower urns/containers. She worked in several nursing homes in Indianapolis and Bloomington as a nurse's aide. Pearl retired from Bloomington Hospital after 12 years of service.
She was a member of the Salvation Army and previous member of Hindustan Church.
Pearl is survived by her son Hubert O. Brough; four grandchildren Steven Brough (Linda), Douglas Brough (Gina), Sandra Cobine (Stewart) and Andrew Brough (Teresa); seven great-grandchildren Jenny Davis (Tim), Jamey Brough (Jenny), Hannah Cobine, Sarah Hall (Codey), Nathan Cobine, Tyler Brough and Alex Brough; six great-great-grandchildren Stephanie Jacobs (Ryan), Maddie Keller, Christopher Brough, Nicholas Brough, Blake Brough and Alyssa Brough; two great-great-great-grandchildren Caiden Brough and Ariana Brough; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandson Christopher J. Brough.
