Burice Robinson Dobbs of Bremen passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 in a local health facility. She was born in Carroll County, March 18, 1923, daughter of the late Henry Thomas Robinson and Pearl Wellborn Robinson. Mrs. Dobbs was a member of the Providence Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Hubbard Company.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey L. Dobbs on February 15, 1947; a son-in-law, Curtis Pitts; four sisters, Dorothy Dean, Dovie Parker, Naomi Hightower, Betty J. Mann and two brothers, J. Donald Robinson and Joyce D. Robinson.
Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Phyllis Pitts of Carrollton, Patricia and Tommy Rainey of Bremen; grandchildren, Tammy and Kim Cook, Carrollton, Robbie and Nicole Rainey of Tallapoosa; great grandchildren, Kristin Cook of Macon, Colby Cook, Carrollton, Kate Rainey of Tallapoosa; a sister, Wynelle Cauthen of LaGrange and a brother, Murray Dean Robinson of McDonough.
Services will be Thursday, September 24 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Damon Smith and Reverend Curtis Pixler officiating. Music will be furnished by Andy Fowler accompanied by Sue Ezzell. Bobby Parker, Roger Levans, James Westmoreland, Lemoyne Dobbs, Larry Dobbs, Gary Ferguson, Jerry Jackson and David Eady will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
