Charlene was a member of the Villa Rica High School Class of 1977. She enjoyed riding horses and competed in horse shows. She was a member of the Villa Rica Church of God of Prophecy. She was employed with Sewell Manufacturing Company, Plant #2, in Temple.

She was the daughter of Charles James and Janice Lanning McClure. She is also survived by grandmothers, Mrs. Alice McClure of Marietta and Mrs. Carrie Lanning ( #152573841 buried at Melrose) of Villa Rica.

She turned 21 on March 21, 1980 and on March 25, 1980 at approximately 10:30 pm she was in a fatal car accident that took her life, her sister Dawn McClure and a friend Jamie Hulsey. Rhonda Hulsey was the sole survivor of the car accident.

Jones-Wynn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Gone too soon, Charlene, you will be forever 21 in our hearts and minds.
