Robert Allen "Furnace" Robey, age 52 of Louisville, passed away Friday, September 18, 2015 at his residence. Allen was born October 15, 1962 in Louisville. He was a retired Truck Driver with Active Transportation in Louisville and was an avid deer and rabbit hunter. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sara Rita Wheatley Robey Mudd; his father, Robert A. "Bobbo" Robey; one niece, Christian Robey Smalley; one brother-in-law, Johnny White. Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth Snyder of Indiana; one son, Jason Allen Robey of Louisville; his son's mother, Jean Peters of Louisville; two step-sons, Jamie Peters (Hayley) of Murfreesboro, TN and Chipper Peters (Tessa) of Louisville; one step-daughter, Michelle Peters (Stan) of Omaha, Nebraska; two sisters, Betty Mudd (Gary) and Lori Robey White all of Louisville; three grandchildren, Makenzie Grace Browning, Molley Faith Browning and Logan Browning; and a number step-grandchildren; two nieces, Sarah Robey and LeeAnn Weppler; two nephews, Austin Robey and Chris Brian Mudd (Rachel); two great-nieces, KayLee Mudd and Serenity Robey; two great-nephews Chance Robey and Johnny Robey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Monday, September 21, 2015 at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6785 Highway 52, Saint Francis. The Rev. Terry Bradshaw will preside. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
