Obituary for Richard Milton Anderson:
Richard Milton Anderson, 81, died early Saturday morning at Range Hall in Johnson City following several weeks' illness. He was the son nf the late Eli and Lydia Carr Anderson. He was a life-long resident of Sullivan County. A farmer, for a number of years He served as director of the Sullivan County Farm Bureau. He was a director of Farmers Mutual Insurance Co. and a member of Edgefield Methodist Church Survivors i n c l u d e one son, M/Sgt. Paul Anderson, March Field, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Francis Elsea and Mrs. Louise Trivette, both of Piney Flats, and Mrs. Virginia P. Steadman, Winslon-Salem, N. C.; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at Piney Flats Methodist Church. Rev. Sam Varnell will officiate.
