A Celebration of Life Service in honor of SPC. Haden James Bean will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wade Burleson officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors by the U.S. Army. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 6:30 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Haden James Bean was born March 19, 1993, to Shawn David and Jana Sue (Geary) Bean, and God took his angel home Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015.

Haden grew up in Enid, graduating from Chisholm High School in 2011. He spent the next four years attending Oklahoma State University, receiving his bachelor of science degree in aerospace administration and operations. At the time of his death, SPC Haden Bean was attending the Basic Airborne Course en route to Special Forces Assessment and Selection.

Haden was a loving soul who never met a stranger. He treated everyone with kindness. He loved to be outdoors, running, hunting or playing golf. But his favorite pastime was to be with his family and friends. Haden set an example of how to live your life simply by living his. He will forever be loved and missed.

Haden is survived by his parents, Shawn and Jana; grandparents, Jacob and Serena Geary of Tahlequah, Kathy and Kendall Arnold of Lahoma, Gene Williams, and Stacy and Joyce Bean all of Enid; uncles, Jason Geary and wife Mary, Ryan Bean and wife Stephanie, Tanner Bean and wife Nallely, and Dustin Williams; as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.

Shawn and Jana request to honor Haden’s life with memorials going to Wounded Warrior Project, instead of flowers. The service can be viewed online at www.emman uelenid.org. Guestbook is available at www.andersonburris.com.
