She was a retired Postmaster from the U. S. Postal Service, Ashland, W. Va.
Surviving are one son, Charles E. Morris II, Vienna, Va.; one daughter, Barbara M. Early, Rockville, Md.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Bess Oliff, St. Louis, Mo., Celeste (Tess) Klose, Raleigh, N. C., Roberta Burns, Jackson, Miss., Jeanne Atkinson, Kingsport, Tenn.; one brother, Dave Fitzhugh, Roanoke.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Green Ridge Presbyterian Church, 7640 Alpine Road, Roanoke, Va. 24019. A prayer service will be conducted 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's North Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, W.Va. by Dr. William A. Cole. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's North Chapel
