Scott was a fabulous singer, pianist, was a member of the Iowa ACLU, and served as a board member for the Iowa City Chamber Singers. He worked as a bus driver for both CAMBUS and the city of Iowa City, and also credits The United States Postal Service for “paying him to exercise” for 30 years. Scott was also a strong supporter of the arts, classical music, and progressive causes, and he was never shy in sharing his love of science fiction, classical music, crossword puzzles, word games, puns and the “proper” use of the English language. He will be dearly missed.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother.
