A large number of relatives and friends, including many residents of Merrick county, were present at funeral services for J. Henry Hein, held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock from the Geddes funeral home, 615 West Third street. Rev. C. B. Harman, pastor of St. Paul's English Lutheran church, conducted the impressive rites. The floral offerings were profuse and very lovely. Herman Siemers, Otto Zlomke, William Wulf, Louis Muller, Henry Husmann, and Fritz Mulller served as pallbearers. At the conclusion of the services, the body was taken overland for burial in the Chapman cemetery. The body arrived in this city last Thursday from Alhambra, Cal., where death occurred.

The last sad rites for J. Henry Hein, a former resident of near Chapamn, whose death occurred in California on Sunday, June 10th, were held at the Geddes funeral home, 515 West Third street at 1 p.m. Saturday. . . The body was conveyed overland to Chapman, where burial was made in the cemetery of that place.
