Richard Weston Barnett, 91, of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. He was born January 23, 1924 to Charles & Stana (Zivney) Barnett in Falls City, Nebraska.
Richard worked as a Civil Engineer for the US Soil Conservation Service. He received his Professional Engineer designation, and was a graduate of the University of Nebraska, served in World War II and a member of the Cathedral of the Risen Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy “Chris” Barnett.
Survived by his children, Michael Barnett, Mark (Cynthia) Barnett, Paul (Janet) Barnett; grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ. Interment in Wyuka Cemetery, Nebraska City, Nebraska.
