Maps shed light on confusion between the two Bretthorst cemeteries. The Charles and Fritz Bretthorst farms were within 1/2 mile of each other, the former in Gasconade Co. and the latter in Franklin Co. Possibly there is only one Bretthorst cemetery. Charles' farm was in Gasconade Co., but the family likely traded in Berger and may have had a Berger postal route.
