William S. Breon was born Feb. 22, 1882, at Martinsburg, Ia., son of George F. and Emma Breon. He moved with his parents to Norton county, Kansas at the age of 6. When he was 27 he moved to Boone county and had lived here since. He farmed until he retired.
He was married March 18, 1914, to Vena Meyers. They have a son, Edmond S. of Ann Arbor, Mich. Mr. Breon was an avid stamp collector. He had an outstanding collection and showed it at many state gatherings of fellow stamp collectors.
Surviving are his wife, who lives on a farm near Albion; their son; 2 grandsons; a sister Pearl, of Laramie Wyo.; nieces and nephews.
