Ada L. Lape, 97, of Greensburg, formerly of Murrysville, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, at Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. She was born March 17, 1918, in Ellwood City, daughter of the late Percy Boyd Curry and Mary Lucetta Vernon Curry. She was a member of the Murrysville Alliance Church and was a retired secretary for Westinghouse Electric. She also taught kindergarten and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. Ada was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a volunteer docent at the Westinghouse Museum, member for more than 30 years of the Pioneer Girls and was a supporter of Christian Missionary work. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Charles Lape; a sister, Frances Mawhinney; and a brother, J. Lewis Curry. Ada is survived by a son, Jerry V. (Georgianna) Lape, of Tempe, Ariz.; a daughter, Nancy J. (C. Terry) Wansor, of Greensburg; grandchildren, D. Ward (Mieko) Lape, Lisa (Kenneth) Robbins, Amy Bridges, Lynna (John) Thomas, Janeen (Eric) Osselborn, Charles Wansor and Patrick (Candice) Wansor; great-grandchildren, Sasha, Molly, William, Gabriel, Jillian, Grace, Lillian, Olivia, Liam, Megan, Lea, and Weston; and many special cousins, nieces and nephews.
