Visitation will be observed at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and resume on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Edward Franks, Michael Franks, Brian Franks, Jack Brown, Bryant Coburn, David A. Arnold and Thomas Kelly.
Edward "Eddie" E. Coburn, 77, of Pineville, passed from this life on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Summit Nursing Home.
Eddie proudly served our country in the United States Army in the 1950's. He was a truck driver by trade and worked for Louisiana Industries, Colfax Creosote and Fogleman Trucking, retiring after many years. He loved to read and fish but his greatest passion was being surrounded by his children, grandchildren and extended family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Coburn; mother, Dora Jones Dickinson, step-father, Bill Dickinson and brother, John T. Coburn and several half-brothers and half-sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 49 years, Glenda Franks Coburn; daughters, Lisa C. Cupp and husband, Randall, Kayla C. Lemmons and husband, Justin; son, David Coburn; grandchildren, Ashlynn Cupp, Antonio "Ande" Coburn, Luke Lemmons and Lauren Lemmons; sisters, Ruth Taylor and Bobbie Jo Brown and a host of other family members and friends.
