Mrs. George, who was the wife of Grady George, died Monday morning at Hardin County General Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Mississippi and had lived in Savannah since 1936.
Besides her husband, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ruth House of Savannah and Mrs. Cecil Davis of Cherokee, Ala.; a son, Percy George of Tuscumbia, Ala.; a sister Mrs. Flora McCaig of Cherokee, Ala.; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
