Samuel Henry was the 10 child of John Fielding Bays & Catherine Amick.

Samuel became a Medical Physician.

He 1st married Fannie Belle Ramsey in 1892 in Fayette County.

They had 7 children before Fannie passed away in 1910.
Neveve B Bays Propps, Lindale James Bays,
Dolores Bays Haynes, Leland Henry Bays, Otis John Bays,
Percy Reed Bays and Algie P Bays.

As shown of the children there were only 2 girls born to this family.

What a hectic household it would have been with all those boys, I know when I was growing up with being the eldest of 4 small family I know but just as bad being the only girl, it was a case of having to join in with the boys sports if you wanted to be one of the group.

Samuel married for the 2nd time to a distant cousin of his called Margaret Lucy Dorsey in 1911, Nicholas County.

his work must have taken him to North Carolina where he died in 1926.
