Floyd (Jake) Ray Jacobs, age 83, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday August 19, 2014 at the Kettering Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Northridge, Ohio on September 23, 1930 to Henry and Bessie (Lyons) Jacobs.
He was employed with Hobart Corp. for 30+ years and he was an avid fisherman.
Floyd is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jo Ann Will Jacobs, two daughters, Jana (Mike) Malone and Jennifer (Bob) Springer; a son, Jonathan (Linda) Jacobs, and 7 grandchildren.
