Funeral services for Caledonia, Miss., resident Mildred "Millie" Evans, 66, were at 1:30 p.m. today at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Jack Brown officiated. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Haworth Cemetery, Haworth.

Evans died Monday at her home. She was born Jan. 9, 1936, at Bradley to John Wesley Brown and Gladys Irene Brown. She was a rural mail carrier in Big Springs, Texas, for more than 20 years and was a member of Victory Temple Church of God, Haworth.

She had lived in this area for 17 years after moving from Big Springs, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald R. Evans; a twin brother, Millard Brown; and two sisters, Carri Brown and Imogene Lisenby.

Survivors include three daughters, Sherri Pennington, Caledonia, Miss., Terri Pasden, Columbus, Ohio and Jackie Durbin, Herrick, Ill.; two sons, Mark Evans, Fort Collins, Colo. and Herbert Tolison, Big Springs, Texas; two sisters, Nema Wright and Mary Ann Sullivan, both of Idabel; one brother, Jack Brown, Idabel; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
