Maxine Ester Noel, 84, was born in Manning, Texas to Herman and Lou Ella Sandstrom, and passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015 in Humble, Texas surrounded by her loving family.

Maxine, better known as "Meemaw", had many talents and was known for her crafts and ability to sew. She enjoyed a variety of hobbies from fishing to gambling and even crossword puzzles. She loved to laugh and spend time with her family and was deeply cherished by all who knew her. Maxine married her high school sweetheart, James Noel, and had 63 wonderful years together until his passing. They resided in Houston for over 50 years.

Maxine is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Earl Noel. She is survived by her daughters: Patricia and late husband Wilbert Seibert, Joan and husband Nick Maldonado, and Rita and husband, Joe King; grandchildren: Eddie and wife, Jeri Seibert, Tracy Seibert, James Maldonado, Kim Vickery, Shane, and wife Sapphira Clark and Carrie Sykes; great-grandchildren: Alison Craig, Jordan Maldonado, Tommy Schultz, Amber Maldonado, Kalynn Seibert, Hailee Vickery, Caden Vickery, Hutson Clark, Hayslee Clark, Maddox Sykes, and Marlee Sykes; along with other extended family and a host of friends. She will be dearly missed.
