2014 obituary. Hazel I. Abbott, 79 of Norway died Saturday morning at the Hospice House in Auburn. She was born in South Paris, March 3, 1935 the daughter of Ellis and Bessie Corbett Bean, Sr. Hazel graduated from Paris High School in the Class of 1954. Hazel was a homemaker and babysitter, for a short time she worked at Mecon Manufacturing. She was married to Lawrence Estes. She later married Lloyd Abbott. Hazel was an avid Red Sox fan, she enjoyed reading and Chinese auctions. She was a member of the Paris Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
