Daniel Kemery, 35, died suddenly Thursday, May 25 in a doctor's office in Lenox of a massive coronary attack. He had worked that day. When he
complained of not feeling well, his wife took him to the doctor. He had no previous history of heart problems.
Services were Sunday May 28, at the United Methodist Church, the Rev. Floyd Newbrough officiating with interment in North Fairview Cemetery.
Daniel Laverne Kemery, son of Roy Daniel and Katherine Dorthea Kemery, was born at Athleston, Iowa, Dec. 9, 1942 and has been a long time resident of Lenox. He was employed by the Municipal Light and Power Co. of Lenox the past eleven years.
On June 27, 1965, he was married to Linda K. Hughes, daughter of Harris and Erma Hughes of Rolfe, Iowa.
He leaves his wife, Linda, two sons, Mark and Matthew, at home at 108 W. Nebraska St., his father, all of Lenox; three sisters and their families; Connie and Gene Mains, Scott and Coleen of Sharpsburg, Rosemary Kemery of Kansas City, Shirley and Homer Dodson, their daughter,Mary and her husband, Dennis Bruns, John, Margaret and Donna, his grandmother, Mary Yarger, two aunts, one uncle. He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine, and sister, Norma.
Linda's parents of Rolfe, Iowa her brother and sister have come to be with her, Mr. and Mrs. Harris Hughes, Gene and Judy Hughes and Nikki, Jack Hughes, Jerry and Ann Hughes, David and Brenda Hughes, Darrell and Shirley Perscher, Dean and Susanne Stockdell, Mike, Pat and Troy.
