Wanda J. Giddens, 60, Kansas City, KS, died July 21, 1998, at the Trinity Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, at the Maple Hill Funeral Home; burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Wanda was born in Little Rock, AR, and had lived in the Kansas City area most of her life. She was a plate maker for National Envelope for 23 years, retiring in 1991. Survivors include her husband, Richard Lee Giddens, of the home; a son, Richard J. Giddens, Kansas City, KS; daughters and son-in-law, Diana and Donnie Stakely, Kansas City, KS, and Sharon Hernandez, Edgerton, KS; a brother, Tommy Thompson, Poplar Bluff, MO; three sisters, Juanita Sessions, Edwardsville, KS, Pearl Craig, Kansas City, KS, and Ada Williams, Independence, MO; three half brothers, Gary Fuller, Kansas City, KS, Donald Fuller, Kansas City, MO, and Raymond Fuller, Los Angeles, CA; five grandchildren, Robbie and Aavril Hernandez, Stacy and Tracy Stakley, and Dawn Bressler; and eight great-grandchildren.
