Owen A. (Joe) Cantwell, 73 of Macksburg,
died Feb. 11, 1980
at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born Oct. 7, 1906 in Ritchie County W.Va. to
James B. and Mary B. Pratt Cantwell.
He was a US army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife Bessie Parr Cantwell;
three daughters Anna Mae (Howard) Haga, Virginia Ramage
and Donna Scott; four sons Clifford(Roxie), James (Virginia), Richard and Kester;
two sisters, Violet Huffman and Della Fay Scyoc;
one brother Rev. William Cantwell;
and thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son Donald Cantwell; one grandson, Johnny Williams;
five brothers, John, Mason, Ralph, Luther and Harry Dow;
two sisters, Hazel and Ada; and three half sisters, Cleo and Ethel Miller and Anna Baker.
