Memorial services for Mary Alice Harrigill Lofton, 79, of Natchez, who died Monday September 7, 2015 at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday September 9, 2015 at the Natchez City Cemetery with Rev. John Kramer officiating Laird Funeral Home in in charge of the arrangement.
Mrs. Lofton was born in Adams county April 18, 1936 the daughter of Lewie Harrigill and Katie Zimmerman Harrigill, She retired in 1998 after 36 years of service from Natchez Regional Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant son, Chester Allen Gwin; and husband, William Howard Lofton.
Survivors include, one son, Charlie Gwin of Fort White, Florida; one daughter, Charlotte Ann Byrne and husband, Johnny of Natchez; grandchildren, Jack Byrne of Natchez, Keith Gwin of Ft. White, Florida, Stephanie Kinsman of Dallas, Texas, Ben Lofton of Gilmer, Texas, Josh Lofton of Richardson, Texas, Michael Lofton, of Elk Grove, California, Mary Kate Partridge of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Ginny Robbins of Parker, Colorado; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Lewis Harrigill and wife, Nell of Vidalia; several nieces and nephews.
