A CARRIER'S DEATH.
James Carroll, 45, a carrier, lately living in
Harris-street, Ultimo, died at the Sydney Hos-
pital yesterday afternoon from injuries to the
head, received on August 20. On that date
Carroll was driving a cart loaded with wool
along Wattle-street, when one of the bales
knocked against him, and he fell out of the
vehicle, striking his head on the roadway, sustaining
concussion of the brain.
