Pioneer Dies on Way to Doctor

Mrs. Juliaette Parry Ballinger, 81, of 310 Eighteent. Utah pioneer and lifetime resident of Ogden, died at two-thirty p.m. Thursday of a heart attack as she was entering a dowtown office building to visit her physician.
Mrs. Ballinger was born Nov. 20, 1868 in Ogden, a daughter of Joseph and Susan Wright Parry.
She was a member of the L.D.S. church and resided in the Tenth ward, where she was a Relief society teacher for many years. she was also a member of the D.U.P.
On June 4, 1907, she was married to John David Ballinger in the L.D.S. Salt Lake temple. He died Dec. 7, 1924, in Ogden.
Surviving are a son and daughter by a former marriage, Roy Stone, Brigham City; and Mrs. Robert J. (Myrtle), Sommerville. Ogden; a son, Gerald Ballinger and two Step-daughters; Mrs. Myrtle B. Higley, Pasadena, Calif; and Mrs. Clyde Simon, Altadena, Calif; nine grandchildrena nd two brothers, Albert and Amos Parry, Ogden.
Services will be conducted Tuesday, at three p.m. at the mortuary, 3408 Washington, by Bishop Fred M. Carroll of the Tenth ward. Burial will be in Ogden city cemetery.
