Surviving are his wife; a daughter Mrs. William Gray of Normal, Illinois; a son, Spacy Hulvey of Decatur, Illinois; a sister Anne Sculoch of Lexington, Illinois; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Six brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers.
