I adopted Fergie in March 2003. She came in my life at a time that I really needed her. She was quite unique. She loved to greet anyone that came to our house at the door and never met a stranger. I taught her to fetch. When I first got her I kept buying her little furry mice. They kept disappearing until one day when I was making the bed, I found her hiding place for them. She was hiding them between the box springs and the mattress. She was very vocal and we had the best conversations early in the morning when I was getting ready. She was kind of understanding when I rescued a dog and brought her home. Her and Cora became fast buddies. A few months later she was not very understanding when I rescued another cat named Patches. It took a few weeks for them to tolerate each other. Then the last sibling of hers that I rescued was a kitten named Rupert. She thought she was his mama. You will always have a place in my heart Fergie. Mama and your sister and brothers love you and miss you.
