Hattie Brown, 83, of Hattiesburg died Friday, April 27, 2018 at Merit Health Wesley. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Purvis followed by burial in Dixie Community Cemetery. Mrs. Brown was a member of Dixie Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lew Brown; her daughter, Twila Dawn White and her son Kenneth Lane Barron. She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Jean Dubose of Lumberton and Rebecca Lynn Dyar of Hattiesburg; two sons, David Glenn Barron of Houston, Texas and Gary Thomas Barron of Tucson, Arizona; fifteen grandchildren; twenty eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one brother, Clarence Barrett of Billings, Montana and one sister, Eva Reynolds of Gulfport.
