Iris L. (Neese) Tremps, 100, of Anderson, passed away on September 3, 2015 at Primrose. She was born on December 13, 1914 in Lapel, Indiana.

Iris graduated from Lapel High School in 1932 .

She worked for Delco Remy for 5 years and Roosevelt Grade School for 16 years in food service.

She enjoyed bowling, reading, and crocheting. She and her husband spent summers in Minnesota fishing. She was a member of ABWA, Eastern Star for 75 years, charter member of Friendly Circle Home Economics Club and member of Whetstone Christian Church where she was the organist for 32 years.. The family would like to thank the staff at Primrose for their love and compassion. Also to Heartland Hospice Nurses, Rachel, Kyra, and Kelly for all their care.

Iris is survived by her daughter, Susie (Jim) Johnson, grandchildren, Shane Johnson, Bart Johnson, Dawn (Scott) Davidson and Brig. General Dean (Tanya) Tremps, great-grandchildren, Eric and Jack Davidson, Nick, Trevor, and Peyton Tremps, several nieces and nephews, very special friend and companion, Kathy Campbell, special friends, Roger and Becky McCarty

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Tremps, mother, Cora (Webb) Neese, father, Frank Neese, son, Richard Tremps, 4 brothers and a infant sister.
