Evelyn E. Turner, 61, 518 W. Seventh St., Rushville, Ind., died at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, 1989 in the Rush Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 2, 1928, in Russell, Ark., the daughter of William and Lillie Wallace Crossman. She married the Rev. Paul Turner April 17, 1946, and he survives. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church in Rushville, Ind.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four son, Travis Turner, Greenfield, Ind., Jerry Turner, New Palestine, Ind., Larry Turner, Carthage, Ind., and Michael Turner, Rushville, Ind.; one daughter, Paulette Maciel, Rushville, Ind.; four brothers, Atheal and Bud Crossman, both of Russell, Ark., Leon Crossman, Sarasota, Fla., and John Crossman, Bradford, Ark.; four sisters, Audrey Holden, Hazel Weathers and Jean Steaffy, all of Bradford, Ark., and Lavern Cagle, Bebe Ark.; and 14 grandchildren.

The services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Todd Funeral Home in Rushville, Ind., with the Rev. O.W. Willis officiating.

Burial will be in the Park Cemetery in Greenfield, Ind.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
