The Rev. Will LeDrew Bennett officiated and Scripture was read by the Rev. George MacDougall. Pallbearers were Lester Uphaus, William Uphaus, Charles Jacobson, Dorsey Ellis, Howard Rundle and James Monfort.
Mr. Billingsley’s death was caused by pneumonia. He had obtained employment on the Fort Peck project and worked a day and a half before he became ill. He was in the hospital less than a week before his death.
He was born May 17, 1914, on his parent’s farm near Glasgow and he had lived in this vicinity all his life.
He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Henningson, Florence and Rhuie of Glasgow and Juanita Billingsley, who came here from Iowa for the services; two brothers, Gale and Charles; his grandmother, Mrs. Mary Billingsley, and uncles and aunts, who are Mr. and Mrs. Clarence J. Billingsley, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Billingsley, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Billingsley and Eliza Billingsley.
