Obituary from the Medina Gazette of May 11, 1988: "Edward F. Scott, 67, of Medina, died Tuesday, May 10, 1988, Born in Tyler, Pa., he was a Medina County resident for 30 years. He was an inspection supervisor for General Moters Chevrolet and a member of VFW Post 9520 and the Chevettes. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Scott is survived by his wife, Hazel; son, John of Cuyahoga Falls; daughter, Linda Cruise of Brunswick, sisters, Iren Jamelson of Cleveland and Lee Johnson of Milwaukee, Wis., and four grandchildren. Memorial service: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Brunswick United Methodist Church. The Rev. David Freeman will officiate. Burial; Westview Cemetery, Brunswick. Carlson Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to VFW Post 9520 for hunger baskets."
