One of the founders of Buffalo,NY, who as agent of the US Government,setted many affairs between white man and indians. in 1806, he became a agent to Six Indian Nations, and was on his land that he met with the Great Council of Nations and persuaded the Council to refuse an alliance with the British in the War of 1812. His grave is located on the land he once owned within the City of Buffalo (Flint Hill) The first land puchased for Forest Lawn was part of this farm. The puchase approximately 80 acres of his estate at $150 per acre.
