Son of Bobbie Caroline (Taylor) and William Samuel Hussey. Don attended school in Wynnewood and graduated from Wynnewood High School in 1974. He then went on and spent time at Murray State College. After school he worked for a subsidiary of Kerr-McGee Corporation where he worked in the pot ash mines in New Mexico. Later they moved him back home to the refinery at Wynnewood. His last years were spent working for a local ranch. Don loved athletics and played softball all of his life. He enjoyed kids and coaching baseball and softball. Children truly loved him and he had a special connection with them. Don was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wynnewood. He was preceded in death by his son Chad and brother David.
