Wendell E. Wright, 69, died Saturday, July 7, 2001, at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center. Mr. Wright was born May 23, 1932, in Boyd County, to the late Milroy Elisha Wright and Irene Damron Wright. He was an U.S. Veteran in Korea, and also retired from Ford Motor Company. Surviving are his wife Janice Wright; one son, Earl Wright of Sitka; one daughter, Bonnie St. John of Ypsilanta, Michigan; two brothers, Paul Wright of Williamson, South Carolina; and Earl B. Wright of Middletown, Ohio; three sisters, Wanda Salisbury of Romulus, Michigan; Janet Cook of Holland, Michigan; and Shirley Mae Wright Osborne of South Point, Ohio. Also surviving are five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
