OBITUARY
Lucille Kathryn Albright, the daughter of William and Nellie Jane [Byram] Cook, was born February 4, 1909 in Osseo, Minnesota. She was raised in Hennepin County. Lucille attended Osseo schools and the University of Minnesota School of Agriculture, studying home economics and home nursing. She was baptized as an infant at the Methodist Church in Weaver Lake, and confirmed at Loon Lake Lutheran Church in Vergas.
On November 28, 1929, she married Bernard William Albright in Osseo. They farmed in the Vergas area for 10 years, and lived briefly in Ada, Alexandria, and Long Prairie. They returned to Otter Tail County and settled in Henning in 1943. She was active in community and church and was known as a versatile homemaker. After Ben's death in 1978, she spent 13 years in Sabin and Moorhead, returning to the Henning Nursing Home seven months ago.
She died Sunday July 17;, 1994. Grateful for having shared her life are seven daughters, Jane [Mrs. Al] Broten of Elk Grove, Illinois; Barbara [ Mrs. Morris] Grover of Alexandria; Donna [Mrs. George] Smith of Henning; Kay [Mrs. Ray] Thoreson of Henning; Linda [Mrs. Warren] Tikkanen of Battle Lake; Rebecca [Mrs. Paul] Ballard of Alexandria; and Jacki [Mrs. Kent] Karch of Moorhead; 23 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one granddaughter, Laurie Smith, 3 sisters and one brother.
Serving as casket bearers were grandsons, Tom Broten, Mike Broten, Bill Broten, Dan Broten, Paul Grover, Greg Smith, Geoff Smith, Bryan Thoreson, Craig, Matthew, David and Jon Tikkanen, and Jason and Joshua Karch.
The funeral was held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Henning, Minnesota, July 20, 1994, 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Ronald Jobe officiating.
