Pittman family: Gerald T., Jr (29), Sylvia G. (27), and Jarod A. (5), all of Ruskin, passed away unexpectedly on November 29, 2009. They have entered into eternal rest together as a family. Gerald Jr. and Sylvia were very loving and devoted, not only to each other, but also as parents to Jarod. They will be sadly missed by their entire family: Mother, Eva Ramirez, father, Gerald Pittman Sr. (Anne Tillett), brother, William Pittman, all of Ruskin; grandparents, Vel Yuma of Ruskin and Myra and Bill Matthews of Lakeland. Gerald Jr., and Jarod also have family and friends in Florida and North Carolina. Sylvia has family and friends in Tennessee. Services will be held from 10 a.m. until 12p.m., Saturday, December 12, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Ruskin, located at 820 W. College Ave., Ruskin, FL., with Dr. Barry Rumsey presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the memory of Gerald Jr., Sylvia, and Jarod Pittman to the Shriner's Hospital of Tampa, FL.
