Joseph Frank Andolsek, 93, of Evans died Tuesday, Dec. 13, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.

He was born Feb. 25, 1912, in Globeville to Louis and Mary (Purkett) Andolsek.

On Apr. 18, 1936 he married Hilda Hart in Greeley. She is deceased.

Mr. Andolsek enjoyed making lamps and woodworking, cross-stitching, doing repairs and crafts. He also enjoyed traveling and fishing. A dependable person, he enjoyed caring for people. Mr. Andolsek worked at Edward's Chevrolet for 12 years, then at Milt's Auto Parts for 29 years and Parr Auto Parts. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a former member of the Carnation Garden Club. He was a Boy Scout leader and a member of the Red Dale Campers Club.

Survivors are 2 daughters and their husbands; a son and his wife; three sisters, Sophie, Rose and Stephie; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, his parents, five brothers, Scotty, Bill, Frank, John and Louis Andolsek, and six sisters, Helen Hood, Julia Drobnitch, Mary Sanstead, Pauline "Babe" Pocock, Jenny Fiolkoski and Anna Andolsek, preceded him in death.
