Some day you will read in the papers that Allan Vivona is dead. Don't you believe a word of it. Rev. Allan R. Vivona, 67, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.

He was born in Endicott, NY to the late Jack and Barbara Vivona and was the husband of Sandra (Doyle) Vivona with whom he shared 45 years of marriage.

Allan served as a minister over 20 years with the Bible Fellowship Church. He served churches in California, New York and Pennsylvania, retiring in 2013.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 4 children, David D., husband of Amy (Schrieber) Vivona of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, Dominic R. Vivona of Lancaster, Nathan D. Vivona of Fleetwood, Carrie L. Vivona, wife of Sparky Grace of Lancaster; 4 grandchildren, Gabriella, Zachary and Joshua Vivona, Griffin D. Grace; 2 sisters, Brenda Vivona, wife of Donald Yeier of Candor, NY, and Laurie Vivona, wife of Michael Bunn of Falls Church, VA.

A viewing will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2015, from 9 to 11 am. at the Lebanon Bible Fellowship Church, 1635 Mill Road, Lebanon, PA, followed by his funeral service at 11 am, with Pastors Calvin Reed and Ralph Ritter officiating. Interment will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, New York.
