Mr. Ginestar was born in Rabat, Morocco, to Joseph Ginestar and the former Marie Sala.
He was married Jan. 1, 1960, to Martha Daschek in Rabat. They later moved to the United States and became U.S. Citizens.
Mr. Ginestar retired from Weyerhaeuser Co. as a diesel mechanic in 1993.
He was skillful at carving wood and woodworking. He loved the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Martha, Poe Valley; son and daughter-in-law, Jacques and Tonya Ginestar, Poe Valley; son, Fred Ginestar, Poe Valley; daugher, Martine Ginestar, Bonanza; daughter and son-in-law, Isabelle and John Connett, Moscow, Idaho; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Ginestar, Helena, Mont.; grandchildren, Jesse, Jacob, Hanna and Loren; brothers, Paul Ginestar, Bandon, John Ginestar, Spain; sister, Elvire Ginestar, Spain; numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by a son, Remy, and a sister, Marcelle.
