Funeral service for Mr. Jimmy Murry, I, 61, of Sicily Island, will be held at 10:00 AM on, Thursday, September 3rd, 2015 at Pinehill Baptist Church with Rev. Bubba Tucker officiating, interment to follow at New Pinehill Cemetery in Sicily Island, under the direction of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home-Winnsboro, LA.
Jimmy, a construction worker, was born on September 30, 1953 in Deridder, LA and passed away on August 25, 2015 in Rawlings, WY. Jimmy was a member of Pinehill Baptist Church who enjoyed riding his Harley when he wasn’t hunting or fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Murry; brother, Glen Murry and sister, Pamela Davis.
Survivors left to cherish his memory are his wife of 33 years, Kay Vines Murry of Sicily Island; son, Jimmy D Murry, II and wife Ginnie of Sicily Island; grandsons, Cohen, Case and Clayton Murry; mother, Betty Faye Killingsworth of Downsville, LA; father and mother-in-law, Jessie and Norma Vines of Sicily Island; brothers, Thomas Dale Murry and wife Charlotte of Downsville, LA, Billy Murry and wife J.J. of Downsville, LA, James Killingsworth of Choudrant, LA, Lynn Vines and wife Mary of Sicily Island, Roy Vines and wife Kim of Natchez, MS, Roger Vines and wife Candy of Harrisonburg, LA and sisters, Denise Collins and husband Alan of Hensley, AR, Ellen Fuller of Hensley, AR and Amanda Beard of Vidalia, LA.
