Rites Are Set

Mrs. Mark Burns, 69, 6th St., died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in West Texas Hospital here following a heart attack during the afternoon.

She had been a Lubbock resident from 1922 until 1930, when she moved to Olton, and lived there from 1949 until her death.

Services will be at 4 p m. Saturday in the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church here. She was a member of the church. The Rev. Cordis M. Womack, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.

She was a native of Kentucky.

Survivors include her Husband two step-daughters, Mrs. Ethel Sutton, Amarillo and Mrs. Hester May Bodkin, Olton; a step-son, Roy Bums, Gravette, Ark.; three brothers, Bernard Bowles and Gayle Bowles, both of Lubbock and Carl Bowles Amarillo.
