Mrs. Joseph Ziarnik, 59, of 2109 Madison street, died late yesterday afternoon, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Shimek and Schwartz funeral home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic church, the Rev. John S. Landowski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Ziarnik, nee Anastazya Zagrodnik, was born in Manitowoc in 1887 and was married to Mr. Ziarnik in 1906.
Survivors are the husband, two daughters, Mrs. August Becker and Miss Eleanor Ziarnik of Manitowoc; two sons, Leonard S. and Harry W. of Manitowoc; one sister, Mrs. Anna Povalisz of Manitowoc; two brothers, John of Manitowoc and Michael of Chicago; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from 7 p.m. Thursday until time of services on Saturday. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday.
