Divine Rites
Funeral services for L.R. Divine, 89, well-known resident of Boyle and Mercer counties who died Sunday at 1:15 p.m. In Haggin Memorial hospital, Harrodsburg, were conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. In the Coyle Funeral Chapel by the Rev. E. B. Scott, Mackville. Mr. Divine was a retired farmer and member of Antioch Methodist Church. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Harvey Key, Rose HIll; Mrs. Nona Hendren, Mercer county, and Mrs. Edward Best, Washington county; one son, Ted Divine, Perryville; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and two brothers, Levi Divine, McLean county, and Harrison Divine, Lexington. Interment was in Carpenter's cemetery on the Mackville road.
