Memorial services for Maxyne E. Alderink, age 91, of Princeton, will be held Tuesday, December 07, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fresh Waters United Methodist Church in Princeton-112 North 7th Avenue, Princeton, Minnesota with Rev. Loren Ferch officiating. Burial of cremated remains will take at the Pease Cemetery at a later date.

Maxyne Elizabeth Alderink was born September 11, 1919 in Princeton, Minnesota to Fred and Mable (Tyler) Oftedahl.

Maxyne was an avid gardener, baker, and homemaker. She taught the values of working hard and planning ahead.

Our family would like to thank her beloved foster home PCA- Linda Druar and family, Oasis, Fairview Hospice, and all of the wonderful caregivers who made mother's life safe, loving and comfortable in her last years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fritz (Fred) Alderink; three children, Janet, Jean, and Kevin, one grandchild, Heidi Becker; and three great-grandchildren, twins: Emma & Ava Koecher and Jacquelynn Howard-Townsend; brothers, Maurice and Donald; sisters, Alta and Bernyce.
