She married James Collette, Sr. They lived most of their married life in Bombay. He died in 1947.

Surviving were three sons, James, Jr., Bombay; Herman, Brushton, and Henry, Malone; six daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Annie) Barney, Mrs. Chester (Dorothy) Kelley, Mrs. Allan (Florence) Morris, Mrs. Leonard (Myrtle) Clement, Massena; Mrs. Ernestine Phelps. Brushton; and Mrs. Nolie (Orme) Dumas; 30 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
